The eighth “Agriculture is Rising with Young People” idea competition organized by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (ITB) to support young people who want to work in the field of agriculture has concluded

Two projects financed by the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program participated in the competition. The project conducted by computer engineering students Beritan KOÇ and Adem ÖZALP and plant protection department students Mehmet BARIŞ KOLAKAN, who participated in the “Environmentally Friendly Agriculture Category” of the competition, was deemed worthy of the “Honorable Mention” award. The project conducted by computer engineering students Okan GÖZTAK and plant protection department students Abdurrahman DAĞLI and Koray DAŞ, who participated in the “Smart Agriculture Category” of the same competition, was deemed worthy of the “Project Idea Deserving Exhibition” award. The awards were presented by the Rector of Izmir University of Economics, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hakan ABACIOĞLU and İzmir Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Chairman Ms. Işınsu KESTELLİ, Vice Chairman Mr. Ercan KORKMAZ and İzmir Chamber of Commerce Assembly Chairman Mr. Ömer Gökhan TUNCER.
